Drifting snowflakes carry my longing
Dreams featuring you were always so romantic, so agitating. This one
is as well. We were in a call, and it was something like you were
coming and we were on a call. And after that there was this amazing
technology letting us listen to the same music anytime anywhere, even
though we were separated at two ends of this earth and by twelve hours.

Could be that I was shocked by the constraction between my lonliness
and the three couple lives I saw closely along this Chicago trip. All
three of them are my intimate friends at three dfferent eras
respectively. And now their relations all look happy and promising.
They all live together or very close. That happiness that even I could
feel when I stayed with them left me with the impulse to give the
world for it.

Old friends in current situation

Old friends in current situation
I dreamed of several old college friends appearing in my current life,
not as audience but as a part of it. In that dream they were enjoying
this new life style that was quite different from what we used to have
before. They now must be leading another largely if not totally
different life as well. Maybe I was wondering whether they would like
to try this life that I was having. But which is better? If had not
chosen to coming abroad or had not made it here, I would surely have
been wondering how it was like here and desiring to leap over. It's
just because there is a greater difference between here and there than
between school and working. I had to admit my father's opinion,
although sounds stupid now, did nudge if not steer my path.

I don't really change so much.

I don't really change so much.
Yes I did already have lots of changes, some of which even seem
dramatic. But I can never change the way I feel about you. I'm not
sure whether it's you or the you in my memory. Like said in that song,
nobody can replace the you in the memory and the time of youth. How
long will this last?
